The first Temiskaming Studio Tour was held in September 2005 when two Haileybury artists got together and organized other artists and artisans from Latchford to Kenogami to open their studios to the public “Celebrating the Creative Spirit”.

Spend a day or two on a self-directed tour. A brochure listing the artists and providing a map of the studios can be found at libraries, galleries and art stores.

The Tour gives residents and visitors a chance to see our beautiful communities and to discover the exceptional skill and talent of our visual artists. Visitors will find paintings, stained glass, carvings, weaving, quilts, wall hangings, twig-works and other surprises. They will also learn about different techniques, see demos and most importantly - meet the artists!
